Step 1

Start from observation -> Prototype

Step 2: finding whether there exists an effect on students’ learning efficiency with different speeds.

First, we can schedule a small experiment. Dividing people into three groups, say, 0.5 speed, 1.0 speed, and 2.0 speed. After watching the video, we have a quiz (which is about the video). If a significant difference is found, we can say that speed does matter in online teaching, and therefore we can move to our next step, which is about designing and optimizing speed for people of different backgrounds & so on.

Step 3: finding an algorithm to automatically adjust speeds for people of different groups
